Community Nursery School at Ninth Street UMC

Our Mission

At Ninth Street Community Nursery School, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where children grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. Through intentional teaching rooted in Scripture, we lay a strong foundation for faith, learning, and life by encouraging independent thinking and fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Our Leadership

Our leadership and teaching staff work in partnership with the church to provide a safe, structured, and meaningful environment for every child. Led by a director who actively teaches in the classroom, our team of dedicated educators provides consistent, loving care each day. We value teamwork, clear communication, and consistency, ensuring each child receives individualized attention and each family receives thoughtful guidance. We are united in our commitment to nurturing children in faith, character, and early learning.

As Director of Community Nursery School at Ninth Street UMC, Emma has a passion for both early childhood development and education. Emma strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where children can learn, play, and grow. Emma enjoys building relationships with families and supporting teachers as they prepare children for kindergarten and beyond in a caring, Christ-centered environment.

As a lead teacher for our early learners (3-4 year olds), Bella has 5 years of experience as a preschool teacher and a heart for Christ. Bella is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel valued. "I'm looking forward to teaching your children about Jesus while helping them build important skills and a love for learning."
